March’s Birthdays & Anniversaries
Happy Birthday to all of our members and friends who are blessed enough to be born during this wonderful month of Hope! And happy anniversary to all celebrating this month. We pray God’s continued blessings and happiness on these special occasions for many more years to come. Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary to you all!

Christian Education
Please join us Sunday mornings at 9:30am for our Sunday Biblical teaching in the sanctuary for all adults. Our teaching this month is “Who Is Jesus?”.
Our weekday biblical teaching is held every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Sunday school for ages 8-13 is held at 9:30 a.m. in the Educational Building. Teaching our youth the Bible is important because it can help them develop a strong moral compass, learn to trust God, and build a relationship with him. Parents, our SBWC Youth ministry is in session every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Please contact Alice Reid for more information.

Spring Forward
Get ready to start enjoying the daylight a little longer. Please remember to adjust your clocks one hour forward this coming Saturday night, March 8th, at midnight. We would not want you to miss morning worship!

Great Day of Giving
“Great Day of Giving!” It getting close to that time of year when we make a
commitment to give sacrificially above our tithe and offering. This special offering will be collected on April 20th, Easter Sunday. This principle of sacrificial giving holds true so often in life. When you give sacrificially, God wonderfully gives back to you. You can never outgive God. He sees your sacrificial generosity and pours back many blessings into your life. We are expecting an abundant blessing from God through your sacrifice.

Easter Service
Easter is April 20th this year. Easter is celebrated by Christians as a joyous holiday because it represents the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament and the revelation of God’s salvation plan for all mankind. In commemorating the Resurrection of Jesus, we invite you to celebrate the defeat of death and the hope of salvation with us here at SBWC. Please note that Easter Worship service will begin at 10:00 am. Again, in-person
and online Easter service will begin at 10:00am on April 20th!

1000 Can Challenge
Hunger” is an evocative word. Everyone understands what it feels like to be
hungry. Our stomachs start rumbling. We get irritable. It becomes hard to think
straight. To make those symptoms go away, we eat something. Our stomachs are full, and we are content. Over 47 million Americans face hunger each and every day, including 1 in 5 children. For households that are often forced to choose between eating and paying the utility bills, every dollar counts.
SBWC, I am asking you to prepare your hearts to make a one-day donation on
May 31st of at least one case of canned goods/nonperishables at our 1000

Canned Goods Challenge Drive.
Spread the word to your neighbors and friends. More information will follow.

Tithe & Offering
Tithing is more than just giving away a part of your income; it’s a meaningful practice that deeply connects with your faith and values and demonstrates obedience to God. Tithing can also have a powerful impact on your walk with Jesus; by giving away a portion of your income, you’re putting your trust in God and stretching your faith.

Remember the words of the Lord Jesus.
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35).

There are several ways to give:

  1. SBWC mobile App,
  2. The church drop slot
  3. By mail: 414 Silver Road, Ocala, Florida 34472

That concludes this week’s announcements.

If you are watching via YouTube or Facebook, please help spread the gospel by subscribing to, liking, and sharing our web site with your friends and family.

Tithe & Offering

God knows the power of a gift. He wanted every gift to be given from one’s own heart so that when the blessings come, we understand how God worked through our gift to prosper our wellbeing.

“for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Luke 12:34)

You have a moment of opportunity to be blessed through your giving and to let God know what you treasure most. There are several ways to give:

  • Online at sbw.center,

  • Givelify App,
  • Church drop slot
  • Mail (SBWC, 414 Silver Road, Ocala, FL 34472)

Last but certainly not least

Pastor Appreciation Month

October has long been recognized worldwide as Pastor Appreciation Month. The call to honor our church leaders’ contributions can be traced back to the Apostle Paul. In establishing the first Christian churches, Paul advised the congregation in (1 Timothy 5:17) to give “double honor” to the elders of the church who managed the affairs of the church well, “especially those whose work is preaching and teaching”.

So, when we consider all that our Pastor does for us, it becomes clear how important it is to celebrate and uplift him.

This concludes October 2021 Announcements.
